Benefits
We are a diverse community of creatives showcasing their work influenced by their culture from all over the world. Our reputation and marketing campaigns draw in top-quality buyers, making us a shopping destination.
One of the reasons why we set up ARTE was to build a united community, because together we stand strong and that will create peace to dream bigger, to find support in each other, and to grow stronger.
Your ideas, your energy, and your presence are what shape this community into a space of growth, courage, and possibility.
When we show up for one another, when we share, support, and collaborate, we build a community and your participation defines the group. ARTE is always a better place with you.

Vendor Info
How do I book a spot?
Check out our Become a Vendor page to ensure you meet the criteria for ARTE vendors. Then, follow the instructions to register as a vendor and book a table.
How much does it cost to participate?
The charges to participate in ARTE are outlined on our bookings form. We have various options available. The basic rate for a day at ARTE begins at AED 320, plus AED 125 registration fee as a once-off payment.
Can I pay on the day?
No, payment is required before the event.
When should I pay?
The best time to make your payment is at least two weeks before the event, if not earlier. This allows you and ARTE to plan accordingly.
We love having a block booking. Check with the office if there are any special offers.
Once the payment is done, your time starts to really prepare for your day in ARTE. An early payment reduces the admin time of the ARTE team. We are fully booked when we are fully booked.
What are the terms & conditions for participating in ARTE?
The terms & conditions are shown on the booking form and can be viewed here. If you book your place in another way, the terms & conditions still apply.
Cancellation Policy 2025
2 weeks notice – 100% refund.
1 week notice – 50% refund.
less than one week notice – 0% refund. The refund is not done in cash, and only in moving the payment to another date that is within 3 months of the cancelled event date.
Obviously no refund is ever given after you have spent your day at the market, whatever the result.
Please note that we do not issue refunds based on vendor dissatisfaction with their experience at the market, as all vendors are provided with a designated space and the opportunity to showcase their products at a place that is directed and approved by the management of the location.
Do I need a license?
ARTE has its own DED event business license and obtains a temporary market permit from the DTCM. However, you should make your own enquiries, especially if you sell goods like food and skincare products. If you sell online you should obtain a E-permit. You can ask the people in the DED Cafe along Beach Road in Jumeirah 1 for more information
make the most of your investment…
What do I need to prepare before I come to the market?
Marketing:
- Tell everybody that you are at ARTE, the Makers’ Market today.
- Design a table cloth banner that shows off your brand, the ARTE table measures 180 x 75 x 75cm.
- Update your online shop, and social media with your latest products.
- Have a sign that shows your social media handles and mobile number for customers to photograph, or bring your business cards to hand out. DO ask why people want to grab your card… is it a customer contact or another market or online store wanting you to join them, and are you happy with that.
- The use of a roll banner advertising is not permitted.
Logistics:
- Know your journey route to ARTE and set your watch so you arrive with plenty of time to set up.
- Make sure that you can transport your items easily from the car into ARTE. Please refrain from using the shopping trolleys belonging to the tenants of the malls, by order of the mall managements.
Set up:
- Practice your table display at home. What goes where, is it balanced, overcrowded, and is my product mission clearly visible.
- Decorate your stall and make it attractive, clear and appealing. It is your display that invites the buyer to spend time at yours.
Money:
- Have you set up your Ziina card payment system. Check out this link https://join.ziina.com/arte.
- Make your price list in advance so you are confident and organised when people ask for the price and keep your prices at the market the same as you sell them online.
Sales Technique:
- Is your story to tell ready? so you can engage with potential clients. They buy a piece of you, and so they love to hear about you, your work and how others used your product. Ask about their need for your product, listen to their requirements.
- Consider if you are an active or passive seller, and smile a lot, be approachable without being a hustler. Selling is a tool and a skill.
General:
- Create your market tool box filled with paperclips, hooks, pins, pens, paper and enough loose change etc.
Extra notes:
- Children at ARTE. Our contract says that the vendors are not permitted to bring their kids. We ask that at least you keep your children quietly entertained. Please do not ask your children to hustle potential buyers, and that they do not interfere with other vendors, or their clients.
- For fire safety precautions, the burning of real candles is not permitted at ARTE.
- ARTE is a genuine place to meet up with like minded people who share your passion as an artist, crafter, baker or designer.
How do I find my station?
The team at the registration desk is available to help you find your way. We label all market spots with your name.
What is an additional small space?

Can I sell food at ARTE?
Yes you can, but only food that is considered to be artisanal food. Delicious and fresh items like pretty cup cakes and cookies, cakes and tarts, perhaps home made jams and pickles, designer sour dough bread.
You need to have a FoodWatch permit, which you can only apply for if you have a License to distribute and/or prepare food.

What is the size of the table?
The tables measure 180cm x 75cm x 75cm.
What is an art space?
An art space has 2 art racks (4 panels) and a chair. There is no table in an art space.
The racks must stand at an angle of 90 degrees for safety and security.
There are 2 panels in one art rack, each panel measures 180cm heigh x 90cm wide.

What is a fashion space?
A fashion space is an empty space and a chair. It is big enough for two ‘small’ fashion rails. There are no specific changing rooms at ARTE and your customer can only use the public bathrooms for instance.
Is a table cloth provided?
Yes, we provide a black table skirt. You can bring your own branded cloth to cover ours.
Where do i store my packaging and boxes on a market day?
You either take these items back to your car, or you can store it under the table, under the table skirt. Your space must be very tidy and clutter free.
I want to book a place at Mercato?
You can apply for a place at Mercato Mall if you have been approved as a potential Mercato seller.
All NEW vendors must start their ARTE journey at Times Square Center, since ARTE at Mercato is a curated market where we only show the best of the best vendors.
The ARTE market at Mercato mall is very small with only 34 places. We have a limit on how many fashion sellers we can include. Most of the vendors are repeat vendors who join us event after event, some of these vendors have been with us at ARTE for 20 years.
Mercato sellers must have an exciting product, that is beautifully well made. Your social media must be active and successful. You should have an effective sales technique. Your display must be sparkling and inviting.
Can I bring my own table?
No, but you can add a small table at an additional cost.
Can i bring an extension to my table?
You can book an extra small space for your own additional small table. There is an additional cost, please see the price list on the bookings form.
Can I share a space or table?
No, sharing a place at ARTE is not possible. It is too small. It is hard on the partnership. It results in an unappealing display that is just not big enough for 2 vendors.
How many items should I bring?
This is entirely your choice. Consider doing a test display at home to help with your setup on the day. The measurement for racks and tables are above.
Can I display a roll-up banner?
No, these are not permitted at the ARTE markets.
What hanging device do you recommend for my art?
You need to provide your own hooks to hang your items. Vendors use various items, such as cable ties, string, or S-shaped hooks. Check the back of your own art to see what method works best.
