Vendor Info
How do I book a spot?
Check out our Become a Vendor page to ensure you meet the criteria for ARTE vendors. Then, follow the instructions to register as a vendor and book a table.
How much does it cost to participate?
The charges to participate in ARTE are outlined on our bookings form. We have various options available. The basic rate for a day at ARTE begins at AED 320, plus AED 125 registration fee as a once-off payment.
Can I pay on the day?
No, payment is required before the event.
When should I pay?
The best time to make your payment is at least two weeks before the event, if not earlier. This allows you and ARTE to plan accordingly.
We love having a block booking. Check with the office if there are any special offers.
Once the payment is done, your time starts to really prepare for your day in ARTE. An early payment reduces the admin time of the ARTE team. We are fully booked when we are fully booked.
What are the terms & conditions for participating in ARTE?
The terms & conditions are shown on the booking form and can be viewed here. If you book your place in another way, the terms & conditions still apply.
Cancellation Policy 2025
2 weeks notice – 100% refund.
1 week notice – 50% refund.
less than one week notice – 0% refund. The refund is not done in cash, and only in moving the payment to another date that is within 3 months of the cancelled event date.
Obviously no refund is ever given after you have spent your day at the market, whatever the result.
Please note that we do not issue refunds based on vendor dissatisfaction with their experience at the market, as all vendors are provided with a designated space and the opportunity to showcase their products at a place that is directed and approved by the management of the location.
Do I need a license?
ARTE has its own DED event business license and obtains a temporary market permit from the DTCM. However, you should make your own enquiries, especially if you sell goods like food and skincare products. If you sell online you should obtain a E-permit. You can ask the people in the DED Cafe along Beach Road in Jumeirah 1 for more information

What do I need to prepare before I come to the market?
Marketing:
- Tell everybody that you are at ARTE, the Makers’ Market today.
- Design a table cloth banner that shows off your brand, the ARTE table measures 180 x 75 x 75cm.
- Update your online shop, and social media with your latest products.
- Have a sign that shows your social media handles and mobile number for customers to photograph, or bring your business cards to hand out. DO ask why people want to grab your card… is it a customer contact or another market or online store wanting you to join them, and are you happy with that.
- The use of a roll banner advertising is not permitted.
Logistics:
- Know your journey route to ARTE and set your watch so you arrive with plenty of time to set up.
- Make sure that you can transport your items easily from the car into ARTE. Please refrain from using the shopping trolleys belonging to the tenants of the malls, by order of the mall managements.
Set up:
- Practice your table display at home. What goes where, is it balanced, overcrowded, and is my product mission clearly visible.
- Decorate your stall and make it attractive, clear and appealing. It is your display that invites the buyer to spend time at yours.
Money:
- Have you set up your Ziina card payment system. Check out this link https://join.ziina.com/arte.
- Make your price list in advance so you are confident and organised when people ask for the price and keep your prices at the market the same as you sell them online.
Sales Technique:
- Is your story to tell ready? so you can engage with potential clients. They buy a piece of you, and so they love to hear about you, your work and how others used your product. Ask about their need for your product, listen to their requirements.
- Consider if you are an active or passive seller, and smile a lot, be approachable without being a hustler. Selling is a tool and a skill.
General:
- Create your market tool box filled with paperclips, hooks, pins, pens, paper and enough loose change etc.
Extra notes:
- Children at ARTE. Our contract says that the vendors are not permitted to bring their kids. We ask that at least you keep your children quietly entertained. Please do not ask your children to hustle potential buyers, and that they do not interfere with other vendors, or their clients.
- For fire safety precautions, the burning of real candles is not permitted at ARTE.
- ARTE is a genuine place to meet up with like minded people who share your passion as an artist, crafter, baker or designer.
How do I find my station?
The team at the registration desk is available to help you find your way. We label all market spots with your name.
What is an additional small space?
It is an extra space next to your table where you can place a very small table, shelf, or fashion rail.
What is an additional large space?
This is an extra space next to your table that allows you to put a rail, mannequin, mirror, for instance.
Can I sell furniture at ARTE?
Yes, if it is your work or labeled as Vintage items. Normal second-hand furniture cannot be sold at ARTE.
Can I sell food at ARTE?
Yes you can, but only food that is considered to be artisanal food. Delicious and fresh items like pretty cup cakes and cookies, cakes and tarts, perhaps home made jams and pickles, designer sour dough bread.
